On Sunday 7 April, the Cruyff Legacy 14K will take place in Amsterdam. The start of this running event is at the Johan Cruyff ArenA. There are different divisions you can participate in. Besides the 14K Run, there is a 5K Run, a 14K Walk and a Kids Run.
You run the Cruyff Legacy 14K not only for yourself, but also for another person. By running or walking, you raise money for the Johan Cruyff Foundation. With this, we let children and young people with disabilities play sports.
You start next to it, but finish in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Along the way, you will pass Johan's parental home in Betondorp, the Cruyff Court, and many more highlights related to Johan. A wonderful way to reflect on Johan Cruijff's thoughts, the social initiatives he has undertaken and his contribution as a player and coach in football.
Participants in the 5K Run start at the same location as the 14K Run. In other words: you start next to it, but finish in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. You run the first part with the 14K Run and then continue on your own route. Towards the finish, you will rejoin the same route as the 14K Run. Along the way, you will pass all kinds of highlights related to Johan Cruijff. Definitely worthwhile!
The 14K Walk starts in the Johan Cruijff ArenA along the pitch, makes a loop through the stadium to the outside and then travels a beautiful 14 kilometres through Amsterdam passing, among other things, the mural and walking across the Johan Cruijff bridge. The 14K Walk also ends in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
The Kids Run is free! However, registration is compulsory. The Kids Run involves running 750, 1500 or 2250 metres. Participants are given the choice of running 1, 2 or 3 laps. The Kids Run starts and finishes on the field in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Look here for more information.

Costs
Cruyff Legacy 14K Running Shirt
Upon registration, you will have the opportunity to purchase a unique Cruyff Legacy 14K shirt. The early bird cost of the Cruyff Legacy 14K shirt is €22.50. This year, it is also possible for younger participants to order the shirt. The early bird price for the children's shirt is €17.50.
Location
The start and finish of all parts will take place in or around the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Just outside the stadium, a starting area will be created for the 5K and the 14K Run. All participants will eventually receive a festive welcome at the finish line in the stadium.
Match Feyenoord-Ajax
The Klassieker also takes place on 7 April, with Ajax taking on Feyenoord at De Kuip. This away match can be watched at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Accessible for everyone
Of course the different distances are also accessible for people with a disability. Athletes with a hand bike or visual disability will start in a separate starting section for the 14K Run, 5K Run and Kids Run due to safety measures.
